Folheando a Moleskine

- My poems simply suck.

- Maybe you should try and get some inspiration.

- I breath enough already, thank you.

- Right… I’m going to pretend this was a really bad joke.

- Where do you think I could find better ideas?

- Well, a pretty good source is in medical prescriptions and traffic signs.

- What? Are you out of your mind?

- No, listen, it really works! It has worked for me but I used TV guides.

- God...

- That’s true. The improbability of an activity can create a flow of unimaginable possibilities. Start with the weird, ugly and unlikely. Stop with the common sense.

- That’s bullshit… nonsense… I’ll take it!

- Good!

- What if I write about an old lady who got a prescription from the doctor because she couldn’t read the traffic signs? Huh? How about that?

- Well… that wasn’t quite what I expected but… at least it’s not common sense.

- Yeah. There could maybe be a drugstore and as she couldn’t read the signs and the prescription, she asked for the drugstore clerk to help her and then he also couldn’t read what was written because all the population of the world was submitted to total blindness!

- Guess somebody’s already written about that, buddy.

- Yeah… right…

- I appreciate your stream of creativity, though. Your story can be very interesting.

- I just gotta find the right words, the ones which can touch deep into my thoughts and transfer the meanings of my expression to a different dimension. The words will be intertwined and gently sewed in the paper cloth of my Moleskine…

- Poetic…

- Yep. I write poems, but my poems… inevitably… suck…

- Here we go again!
